Namd (“we”, “us”) provides SEO and AI search reporting for businesses and agencies. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. Questions: support@namd.io.
What we collect
- Account data: your name, email address and password (stored hashed), or your basic Google profile (name, email) if you sign in with Google.
- Project data you add: brand names, website domains, keywords, competitor domains, report recipients and agency branding.
- Website data: publicly available pages of the websites you add, which we crawl to check technical SEO and AI readiness.
- Google Search Console data: if you connect it, read-only search performance data (clicks, impressions, CTR, positions, queries and pages) for the properties you grant access to.
- Billing data: handled by our payment partners (such as PayU, Razorpay or Stripe). We store your customer ID and subscription status, never your card or bank details.
- Usage and technical data: logs of checks and jobs we run, and basic request logs from our hosting provider.
How we use it
- To run the service: track rankings and AI visibility, crawl websites, build action plans and generate reports.
- To send the reports and emails you ask for, to you and to the recipients you add.
- To secure, maintain and improve the service, and to provide support.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Google user data
Namd's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically:
- Google sign-in gives us only your name and email address, used to create and secure your account.
- Search Console data is read-only and used only to show you and your report recipients the search performance of your own properties.
- We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models, and humans do not read it except with your permission, for security, or where required by law.
- You can disconnect Search Console at any time in the app, and remove our access in Search Console under Settings → Users and permissions.
Service providers
We share data only with providers that help us run the service, under their own privacy terms:
- Supabase (database and authentication), and Vercel or Amazon Web Services (hosting).
- Google Analytics (website usage): cookies measure visits and which pages are viewed, so we can improve the site. We don't send your name, email or client data to Google Analytics.
- OpenAI and Anthropic: we send them your keywords and buyer-style questions to see how AI assistants answer. We do not send your Search Console data.
- DataForSEO (rankings, search volume, backlinks) and Google PageSpeed Insights (page speed): we send them domains and keywords.
- Resend or Google Workspace (email delivery) and our payment partners such as PayU, Razorpay or Stripe (payments).
Retention and deletion
We keep your data while your account is active. Deleting a brand removes its results, reports and tasks. To delete your account and all associated data, email support@namd.io and we will do so within 30 days.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit. Access to each account's data is restricted to that account by database access rules, and stored Google credentials are encrypted.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, or object to how we use it. Contact us at support@namd.io to make a request.
Changes
We will update this page when our practices change, and notify account holders by email of material changes.
