How to track a client's AI search visibility (set up in 2 minutes)
How to track AI search visibility for a client: add the brand and keywords, and Namd asks ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Claude their buyers' questions every week.
What you need
To track AI search visibility you only need the client's website and the phrases their buyers search for. Namd turns those phrases into the questions people ask AI assistants and checks, every week, whether ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Claude name the client.
- The client's brand name and website.
- 5–15 keywords buyers use, such as “accountant for startups” rather than the brand name.
- For a local business, the city or area they serve.
Step 1: Add the brand
Click Add brand in the sidebar. Enter the Brand name and Domain, then choose what the brand sells: products, a service, or a local service. This decides how the buyer questions are written. Local businesses get questions that include their location, like “best physiotherapist in Baner”.
Step 2: Choose target keywords
Add the keywords you'd want the client to be recommended for. Each keyword becomes three buyer questions per AI engine, plus a Google rank check. The form shows example questions as you type.
The brand name is never in the questions, so when AI names the client, it chose them on its own. That's what makes the result meaningful to report.
Step 3: Run the first check
As soon as the brand is added, Namd scans the website and builds a starter to-do list. Click Run check now to get the first AI answers straight away; after that, checks repeat automatically every week (ChatGPT every two weeks).
What to look at first
- Overview: the AI visibility score and which engines named the client.
- AI search → Answers: every question, every engine, and who was recommended instead.
- AI search → Sources AI uses: the sites AI read before answering. These are your first outreach targets.
